Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will host its Halloween at Fort Defiance event on Friday, October 30th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the fort located at 120 Duncan Street.

Clarksville, TN – The Fort Defiance Interpretive Center is proud to host the City’s Civil War Summer Camp for history savvy youth. The Camp will be two, one-week sessions for boys and girls in the 5th and 6th grades this June.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for a student to learn about life during the Civil War and participate in activities relating to the period,” said William Parker, Historical Interpreter at Fort Defiance.

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, February 21st from 10:00am to 4:00pm, the Fort Defiance Interpretive Center, located at 120 Duncan Street, will host a living history event to commemorate the 153rd anniversary of the Surrender of Clarksville.
Come see uniformed Civil War re-enactors from Baxter’s Battery who will provide living history and musket firing demonstrations.
