Subdued Few Motorcycle Club to hold Memorial Ride for 19 Fallen Arizona Firemen

Woodlawn, TN – On Saturday, July 20th, Subdued Few Motorcycle Club is having a Memorial and Benefit Ride for Prescott 19. Subdued Few is riding to show their support for the brave men of the Arizona Hotshot Crew, and to raise money for the Wild Land Fire Service. Registration is from 9:00am until 11:00am.
The ride will start at Texas Casual Grill located on Trenton Road in Clarksville, TN at 11:00am and will end at Bo’s Cycle Shop. The ride will go past various fire stations on the route through Clarksville, TN, Cadiz, KY and through Hopkinsville, KY. Approximate arrival time of bikes at Bo’s Cycle shop is around 2:00pm.

Austin Peay State University ‘True Colors’ Homecoming 2012 is October 24th-27th

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University will celebrate Homecoming 2012 with the theme, “True Colors.”
Homecoming is October 24th-27th. Here is a list of events planned as part of the week long celebration. Many of the events are open to the public.
Some of the events include a Student Talent Show, Golf Tournament, Alumni Receptions, 5K Run, Homecoming Parade, Homecoming Football game and so much more.
The Mill to hold Grand Opening Saturday, September 22nd

Clarksville, TN – The Mill, located at 1101 Dover Road, will have their Grand Opening Saturday, September 22nd, 2012 from 10:00am to 6:00pm. There will be live music, a chainsaw carving show, performance by Northwest High School’s Pom Squad, delicious food, games, and door prizes.
Lylewood Inn will also be there selling some great food. Menu will include chicken and dumplings, pork tenderloin sliders, and beans and cornbread.

Business After Hours a success

Clarksville, TN – Despite threatening weather, more than 300 people attended the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours, hosted by Austin Peay athletics and the Governors Club, Thursday night, at APSU’s Pace Alumni Center at Emerald Hill.
Austin Peay President Tim Hall talked about the University’s continued growth and the plan to improve Governors Stadium in addition to encouraging Chamber members to support APSU athletics with their attendance.
