Clarksville, TN – The 20th annual Austin Peay State University Governors Bass Tournament is just five weeks away.
This year’s edition will be held Saturday, May 10th, at Kentucky Lake, with registration and boat launching from Paris Landing, Tenn., State Park. Last season’s tourney drew 282 boats—14 more than in 2012, despite entrants being forced to utilize the back entrance because of flooding.

Clarksville, TN – As the final remnants of last week’s snow and ice storm melt away along with temperatures rising it is a reminder the 20th annual Austin Peay State University Governors Bass Tournament is just around the corner.

Clarksville’s Tilted Kilt to host Super Bowl Viewing Party

Clarksville, TN – The Tilted Kilt, 2790B Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, is sponsoring a Super Bowl Viewing party this Sunday, February 2nd, with food and drink specials all day and a chance to win a flat screen tv.
Come watch all the action on the Tilted Kilt “Viewing Wall,” a massive 170″ LED Video Wall, where football fans can watch all the action in high definition detail.
The Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery offers the best view for the big game, and drink specials throughout the day.
Clarksville’s 2nd annual Handmade Holiday event sees large turnout, continues Sunday, November 17th

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, November 16th the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department put on the 2nd Annual Handmade Holidays event at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center located at Clarksville’s Liberty Park. The event kicked off at 10:00am and went until 6:00pm.
Vendors were on hand selling handmade and handcrafted holiday themed items. The event has grown from last years 40 booths to over 60 vendor booths this year.

Cooling at the Cave draws largest crowd to date

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, July 27th, the Friends of Dunbar Cave held their Sixth Annual Cooling at the Cave event at Dunbar Cave State Natural Area from 3:00pm until 5:00pm. All ages were welcome and admission was free. It was estimated that between 250 and 300 people came out to the event.
“This is probably the best attended Cooling at the Cave so far,” stated Lionel Senseney, President of Friends of Dunbar Cave. “The weather was just beautiful today.”
