APSU to begin work soon on William E. and Sadako Newton Military Family Resource Center

Clarksville, TN – In the next few weeks, construction crews will begin converting a former car dealership building at 426 North College Street into the Austin Peay State University (APSU) new William E. and Sadako Newton Military Family Resource Center.

Clarksville Christmas Parade set for this Saturday

Clarksville, TN – This Saturday, December 7th, 2019, the annual Christmas parade, hosted by the City of Clarksville and Montgomery County Government, will begin at 5:00pm in downtown Clarksville.
The family of the late Mike Robinson, wife Rhonda Robinson and children Bryce, Bayleigh and Carly Robinson, will be this year’s grand marshals. Mike Robinson passed in August from cancer. He was a popular local musician, coach and most importantly a husband and father.

Montgomery County, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Veterans Day Parade will take place on Saturday, November 9th, with pre-parade ceremonies set for 9:00am in front of the historic courthouse (south side) on Third Street in downtown Clarksville.
The keynote speaker is U.S. Army retired Colonel Rob Salome, who now serves as the Director of Strategy and Leadership Development for Solutions 21, a nationwide consulting firm.
