New session of Archery to start at the Burt-Cobb Center

Clarksville, TN – A new session of archery will begin August 6th at the Burt Cobb Community Center. Preregistration is underway online at recpro.cityofclarksville.com. The 4-week class will be held on Mondays from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. Cost is $10.00 for the entire 4-week session. [Read more]

Billy Dunlop Park will be closed to the public July 9th-13th for Boy Scouts Camp and July 16th-20th for Girl Scouts Camp.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation gears up for the summer season at the pools

This free event will take place May 5th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, at the Heritage Park Bark Park. Bring your 4-legged family members for a day full of demonstrations, contests, prizes and much more!

Clarksville awarded grants to help fund Smith-Trahern Mansion restoration plan

Clarksville, TN – The Tennessee Historical Commission awarded the City of Clarksville a Historic Preservation Fund grant of $20,000 to prepare a plan for the restoration of the Smith-Trahern Mansion.
These funds represent sixty-percent of the project budget. In order to complete the project, a forty-percent match from local funds is required. Fundraising efforts by the City will continue, with some help already.
