Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s Welcome Home Celebration will take place September 18th-22nd, 2019. The event, now in it’s fifth year, has added two new exhibits to honor veterans and first responders. The community is invited to participate in dozens of events and activities and show their appreciation.

Clarksville, TN – Hundreds of runners were presented with rare perfect conditions for running this past Saturday, just in time for Clarksville’s annual Queen City Road Race, a 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run that traverses the streets of Downtown Clarksville.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s 40th Annual Queen City Road Race saw runners and walkers of all ages take to the streets of Downtown Clarksville in spite of relentless heavy rain that lasted throughout Saturday morning.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Tina Boysha was once again at the helm of the popular event.

Clarksville, TN – The 40th Annual Queen City Road Race, scheduled for Saturday, May 5th, 2018 is quickly approaching and there is still time to register in person or online.
Online registration can be completed at www.cityofclarksville.com/parksrec and is available until noon on Friday, May 4th. Participants registering in person may come by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Office, 102 Public Square, through Friday, May 4th or register on-site at Austin Peay’s Foy Center the morning of Saturday, May 5th.

Registrants can choose to participate in either the one-mile event at 8:30am or the 5K beginning at 8:45am on Saturday, May 5th, 2018.
Clarksville’s Go Commando Half Marathon sees Large Turnout

Clarksville, TN – The 7th Annual Go Commando Half Marathon & 5K drew more runners than last year, with almost 1,100 participants for the main events, the Kids Fun Run and the Shadow Run this past Saturday, October 21st, 2017.
This year also featured a Guinness World Record being set by Kalea Lehman who finished the half marathon in 1:51:12 while pushing a triple stroller.
Clarksville Police Department’s 5k Run/Walk for C.O.P.S. a huge success

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department held a 5k Run/Walk to raise money for C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors) this past Saturday, May 13th, 2017. The event was held at the Clarksville Police Department Headquarters located at 135 Commerce Street. The entry fee was $25.00.
“The weather today was perfect. There are a lot of families here and around 200 participates,” said CPD Captain Scott Thornton.
