American Floyd returns to Clarksville on March 30th
Clarksville, TN – American Floyd, one of the best of the Pink Floyd tribute bands will be performing in the acoustically perfect Mabry Concert Hall located in the Music and Mass Communication Building on the Austin Peay State University , on Saturday, March 30th at 7:00 pm.
An American Floyd show pays tribute to Pink Floyd with a full band and a sound and light show sure to entertain even the most loyal and ardent fan.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department now offering Lifeguard Certification to the public
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will offer its first Lifeguard Certification Course for non-staff participants seeking the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification.

APSU plans activities as part of Disability Awareness Month throughout April 2013
Clarksville, TN – Walking to class, listening to a lecture, reading a sentence accurately or typing email are daily actions most people can do without thinking twice.
But for those who have disabilities, such activities can be a challenge. Their world is different.

Deadline to enter Clarksville Community Centers’ Junior Film Festival program approaching
Clarksville, TN – Teens ages 15-18, here’s a chance to make your own movie! The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department’s Community Centers will begin the Junior Film Festival program March 25th.
This 10-week program will take place weekly from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at each Community Center. The Kleeman Community Center will host the program on Mondays, the Crow Community Center will host on Tuesdays and the Burt-Cobb Community Center will host on Fridays. 2nd Annual Wettest Egg Hunt this Saturday at Indoor Aquatic Center
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will hold their 2nd Annual Wettest Egg Hunt at The Indoor Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane. Clarksville Parks and Recreation has once again partnered with Sango Pool & Spa to host two not-so-typical egg hunts.
On Saturday, March 23rd, thousands of colored eggs will be floating or sunk in the center’s pools, each good for candy and prizes.

Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library to hold Civil War discussion session tonight
Clarksville, TN – This evening at 6:00pm will be the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library’s final discussion session in the series, “Making Sense of the American Civil War.”
The discussion, entitled “War and Freedom”, focuses on the immediate and uncompensated emancipation of four million slaves following the war. [Read more]
APSU Class of 1963’s 50-year reunion set for April 27th
Clarksville, TN – In 1963, “Lawrence of Arabia” won Best Picture at the Academy Awards, the Los Angeles Dodgers won the World Series and dozens of young students graduated from what was then known as Austin Peay State College.
On April 27th, those graduates are invited to return to campus for the 50-year reunion of the Class of 1963.
Hilltop Supermarket’s 18th Annual Easter Egg Hunt March 30th
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, March 30th, 2013, Hilltop Super Market will hold their 18th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Activities begin at 11:00am and the easter egg hunt will begin at 2:00pm sharp.
There will be inflatables, face painting, cupcake decorating, festivities, games, fun and prizes for children of all ages.
