Kleeman Community Center hosts Military Appreciation Day
Clarksville, TN – The Kleeman Community Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, will be hosting the 2nd Annual Military Appreciation Day on July 11th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
Summer Youth Program participants will be giving out crafts they have made at the Kleeman Center site and spending time with the Warrior Transition Unit from Fort Campbell. Refreshments will be served. This event is open to the public.

Clarksville Jaycees Foundation to give $73,000 for Gary Groves Memorial Athletic Scholarship
Clarksville, TN – A long-running project of the Clarksville Jaycees, the Clarksville Jaycees Gary Groves Memorial Athletic Scholarship at Austin Peay State University will receive a significant financial boost this week.
After a 67-year history in the community, the local Jaycees organization is dissolving. Nashville State Community College Names Clarksville Resident Steve Conklin as Director
Nashville, TN – Eileen Crane, Executive Assistant to Dr. George Van Allen, President of Nashville State Community College, announced today the selection of Steve Conklin as Director of the new Nashville State campus which will begin classes this fall in the former Saturn dealership at 1760 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

BLF Marketing Recognized in International Creative Competition
Clarksville, TN – BLF Marketing was honored with a bronze award in the 2012 Summit Creative Award® competition for its video developed for Clarksville’s Fort Defiance Civil War Park and Interpretive Center.
