Historic Former Post Office and Federal Building Becoming The Mailroom Restaurant
Clarksville, TN – One of Downtown Clarksville’s iconic buildings, the historic former United States Post Office and Federal Building, will soon be given new life and open back up to the public.
It is currently being transformed into The Mailroom restaurant and is expected to open in Summer 2022.
Traditions First Bank Expands Into Clarksville Market
Clarksville, TN – With locations in Erin, Dickson, and Dover, Traditions First Bank is expanding its footprint to the Clarksville area. This new location opened its loan production office on March 1st in a newly renovated suite in Downtown Clarksville.
According to Kyle Luther, Market President, “Expanding into the Clarksville – Montgomery County market has been a goal for some time, as it is a natural complement to our existing communities.”

Yellow Creek Baptist Church held its Community Easter Egg Hunt
Cumberland City, TN – Yellow Creek Baptist Church held its annual Community Easter Egg Hunt this past Saturday, April 16th, 2022. The weather was overcast, warm with a slight breeze.
“The weather was great. Originally it was forecasted for 40 percent rain today. So I prayed daily the LORD would take care of that. It rained last night and I was nervous that the fields would be messy. But even walking around in flip flops there were no problems out there,” said event coordinator Jasmine Atkins.
Movies in the Park returns May 28th
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department announces the return of Movies in the Park, presented by Kyrstin Frate of Keller Williams Realty. The popular event series is set to feature a movie each month at dusk from May through September.
The event will alternate between Liberty Park Amphitheater and Heritage Park Softball Field throughout the season.
15th Annual Sigma Chi Easter Egg Hunt has held Saturday at Austin Peay State University
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, more than 150 kids came out for an Easter egg hunt on the lawn of the President’s mansion at Austin Peay State University.
“This is the 15th annual Sigma Chi Easter Egg Hunt, and it’s the first time it has been hosted by the president of the university,” Victor Felts said. “President Licari and Kirsten have been so gracious, and Kirsten has been very involved in the planning. She made 150 very creative Peeps treats, and dozens of cookies. She also handled all the decorations.”

Food vendors like Driving you Donuts, Burgasm, Heather’s Homemade Ice Cream, Kadi’s Tacos, Firelime Offshore Grill, and Tater Headz will be in rotation this season. Beer and other beverages will be for sale by our featured non-profit, United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region. Chairs and blankets are welcome; however, no pets, coolers, smoking/vaping, or outside alcohol is allowed on site.
Cabela’s King Kat Qualifier Making a Stop in Clarksville
Clarksville, TN – King Kat Fishing Tournament presented by Bass Pro and Cabela’s will make a stop in Clarksville. April 9th, 2022. Liberty Park will host fishermen looking to make waves on their way to the Cabela’s King Kat Classic in Decatur, AL. The qualifier will start at 6:3am with the final weigh-in at 4:00pm.
One of the focal points of this day will be the Kids’ Fishing Rodeo taking place at the Liberty Park Fishing Pond starting at 9:00am. This aspect of the event is open to all children age 12 and under.
