Clarksville’s Downtown Kiwanis Club receives UPS Grant
Montgomery County, TN – The Kiwanis Club of Clarksville (Downtown) was recently awarded a $10,000 grant from the UPS Foundation.
This is the second year that Kiwanis has been awarded this grant and it will be used to continue to support children’s literacy in our community.

The Kiwanis Club of Clarksville (Downtown) was formed in 1920 and is now comprised of over 100 active members. Founded on the principal “Young Children: Priority One”, Kiwanis works to improve the lives of youth throughout our community through events such as local Key Clubs, the annual Interview a Veteran essay contest, hosting a Children’s Christmas Party, and the Reading is Fundamental program to name a few.
