School Resource Officer Jim Knoll assisted Eddie in teaching a class on gun safety to children at Carmel Elementary School.
The Eddie Eagle GunSafe® program is a gun accident prevention program developed by a task force of educators, psychologists, law enforcement officials and firearm safety experts. It has one mission: teach children four simple, easy to remember steps so they know what to do if they ever come across a gun.
Eddie Eagle was a hit among the students. Despite a busy touring schedule, he was available for high fives and autographs after class.
