Premier Medical adds Dr. E. Thomas Bernhoffer to Doctors’ Group Practice
Clarksville, TN – Premier Medical Group is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. E. Thomas Bernhoffer to their family practice department.
A native of Ohio, Dr. Bernhoffer is a graduate of the University of Toledo and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He participated in the National Health Service Corps.
Dr. Bernhoffer currently serves as a Lt. Commander in the Medical Corps of the U.S. Navy Reserves in addition to his practice.
When asked why he chose to specialize in family medicine, Bernhoffer explains, “This is a diverse specialty that allows you to build a relationship with the patient. My role is disease prevention and health promotion. It’s the most effective cost cutting measure for the patient. Promoting good health and preventing diseases through a healthy lifestyle and identifying and treating medical conditions is key. ”
The most rewarding part of Dr. Bernhoffer’s practice is easily identified. “It’s the relationships that develop, the ability to become closely involved with patients, their families and their communities in which they live.”
How did Premier Medical Group attract Dr. Bernhoffer to Clarksville? “After being in private practice for nearly twenty years, I was seeking a group that has the range of resources and a network of skilled physicians that are invested in what they do and the community they serve. I want to add to that success,” answers Bernhoffer.
Although he has not been in Clarksville very long, Dr. Bernhoffer is moved by how friendly the people are throughout the community.
Dr. Bernhoffer is focused on providing health care and management for families. He is accepting new patients at the Premier Medical Governor Square location at 2831 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. To schedule an appointment, call 931.245.7000 or visit www.premiermed.com
