Mrs. Tennessee Petite America to host Holiday Collection Drive at Clarksville’s Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery

Clarksville, TN – Mrs. Tennessee Petite America Crystal Nyhus, with support from the Clarksville Chive Chapter, will host a Holiday Collection Drive to benefit Sanctuary, Inc. on Saturday, December 6th, 2014 from 3:00pm until ­7:00pm at Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery.

Sanctuary, Inc. serves victims of rape, sexual assault, and domestic violence. Items needed for the drive include new bedding, any kitchen items, furniture, new clothing and coats, any toiletries, toys and books for ages, and electronics. Non­perishable foods are highly needed.

“I hosted a similar collection drive at the Tilted Kilt back in the summer with support from the Clarksville Chive and we were able to fill a large U­Haul truck with donations.” said Nyhus. “We hope to make this drive even bigger and better to provide a blessing to these families for Christmas and alleviate any additional holiday stress on their already difficult situations.”

Everyone making a donation will receive a complimentary pub pretzel and $1.00 domestic draughts from Tilted Kilt.

There will be raffle drawings for prizes including 4 pairs of tickets to upcoming concerts at The Warehouse Bar and Grill, a Chive prize pack, a Photoshoot with Chris Auditore photography ($300.00 value), and a $50.00 gift certificate for Hops Road.
