Clarksville, TN – On Sunday, August 18th at 1:30pm, a Sunday Military Family Day Picnic will be held at Liberty Park Amphitheater by Support U.S. Armed Services.
This event is Free for all Active Duty Military and their Families (Military ID required to enter).

Clarksville Parks and Recreation to hold special needs children and adults Fishing Derby August 31st
Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is excited to host the first Adaptive Fishing Derby at Bel-Aire Pool, located at 124 Marie Drive, on Saturday, August 31st from 8:00am to 2:30pm.
Clarksville’s Roxy Regional Theatre to stage last two shows of South Pacific
Clarksville, TN – The Roxy regional theaters is currently staging their production of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical South Pacific. This show features an amazing cast without exception, along with the incredible vocal talents of John Boehr and Alicia Kelly.
“South Pacific” is set on an island paradise during World War II and centers on an American nurse Nellie Forbush (Alicia Kelly) stationed on the island who falls in love with a middle-aged French plantation owner Emile de Becque (John Boehr) but struggles to accept his mixed-race children.

Clarksville, TN – The next meeting of the Clarksville (TN) Civil War Roundtable will be on Wednesday, August 21st, 2013 at the Bone & Joint Center, 980 Professional Park Drive, right across the street from Gateway Medical Center. This is just off Dunlop Lane and Holiday Drive and only a few minutes east of Governor’s Square mall.
The meeting begins at 7:00pm and is always open to the public. Members please bring a friend or two – new recruits are always welcomed.

Clarksville’s Riverfest Tour d’Art Exhibits and Competition Registration underway now
Clarksville, TN – Registration is currently underway for the Riverfest Tour d’Art Exhibits and Competition. This year’s competition will feature the following three exhibits: Amateur & Professional Divisions, High School Division, and the Senior Citizens’ Division.
Artwork is displayed at exhibits at various locations in downtown Clarksville, and then juried, and over $2,500 in prizes is awarded.
