Prudential Agents “Break Through” at Recent Seminar

Five representatives from local real estate company Prudential Professionals Realty recently graduated the Gateway Seminar hosted by Hobbs/Herder marketing Solutions in Nashville, Tennessee.

Among the useful things the Realtors® learned was how to “break through” the things holding them back to accomplish their goals and enjoy happier, more fulfilling lives. They did this with literal board breaking.

Greg Herder, the seminar instructor, had each person write how they pictured their ‘perfect’ life in five years on one side of a wooden board, and then on the other side list all of the things holding them back. He then spent a few minutes teaching the participants the proper stance and breathing techniques involved in board breaking. After that, Mr. Herder personally held the boards up for the agents to break. “It was very exhilarating and motivational… one of those ‘I can do anything’ moments.” said Lyndsay Aguire.

The seminar focused heavily on how agents can best help their clients and become their Realtors® for life. Lauren Dougherty, one of the graduates, said “This seminar helped me realize what real estate is really all about – the client.” It also stressed that if agents are positive and organized, then their clients and transactions will be positive and organized.

“Wow, what a great seminar!” said Mary McCooley, “So many ideas to promote yourself and better assist your buyers and sellers.”

It was held at the Nashville Convention Center August 2nd- 4th, 2010. There were close to 150 participants.
