Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce announces upcoming events during the month of November.
On November 10th, the Chamber will be hosting the 20th Annual Veterans Day Breakfast at the Austin Peay State University Morgan Center. The morning will begin with a buffet style breakfast at 7:30am followed by a salute to our veterans and then will conclude with COL Andrew P. Poppas, Deputy Commander (Operations), 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), serving as the keynote speaker.

On Saturday, November 5th, at 7:30am, The Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee will host the 19th Annual Veterans Day Breakfast at APSU’s Morgan University Center. The cost is $12.00 and will include a buffet style breakfast and a salute to our Veterans. Major General James C. McConville will serve as the keynote speaker for this year’s breakfast. Join us in welcoming Joe Scarlett and learn about how the Tractor Supply Company transformed into what it is today. From his humble beginnings as a 5-year-old German immigrant, Emmy award winner Rudy Kalis has garnered a long and exciting career as one of the nation’s premiere sports newscasters. Rudy has crossed paths with some of the greatest names in sports history such as Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, Jack Nicklaus, Wayne Gretzky, Wilma Rudolph, and Darrell Waltrip. [Read more]
The final day of Rivers and Spires starts off slow, but picks up in the end

Clarksville, TN – Due to unseasonably chilly weather and a blustery wind, the third day of Rivers and Spires looked like it was going to end with a whimper rather than a bang, the victim of the unpredictable spring weather. However as the afternoon wore on, more and more people showed up to enjoy all that the festival had to offer. “The crowd hung in even though we had monsoon winds and rains, and I think it says a lot about this festival, and how much people enjoy it” said Festival Manager Doug Barber.
