Workshop for writers at the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center

Clarksville, TN – Regional writers will be given the opportunity to participate in a workshop with noted poet Stellasue Lee on Saturday, January 28th. Dr. Lee will be leading a class entitled “Saying the Unsayable”.
“Journal Writing/ transformation line is the key to a door of the subconscious. It is how one discovers what they are thinking/feeling. Explaining the unexplainable is something of a magic act; showing up to a blank page with an unfettered mind takes some doing,” said Dr. Lee.
Austin Peay State University Creative School Of The Arts to host One-Day Creative Writing Workshops Series

Clarksville, TN – Whether you’re a young student interested in exploring creative writing or an adult learner interested in fine-tuning your craft, there will be something for everyone this spring at Austin Peay State University’s Community School of the Arts.
During the months of April and May, APSU will be hosting a number of specialized one-day writing classes and workshops aimed at helping learners grow their skills in a number of disciplines, including short stories, poetry and fantasy fiction. [Read more]
Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library to hold Writing Workshop for Teens July 21st

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, July 21st at 1:00pm the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library will hold “Scream! Getting heard in a noisy world” writing workshop for teens.
Storyteller, humorist and musician Kim Weitkamp will head the workshop. This workshop is free, open to the public and brought to the Library through a grant by Target Department Stores.
