Grand Opening for Liberty Park to be held October 23rd, 2012

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan will cut the ribbon marking the official grand opening of Liberty Park on Tuesday, October 23rd, 2012.
“I am so excited that we are going to host the official grand opening of Liberty Park next week,” said the Mayor. “I know people have already been enjoying the fishing pond, walking on the trails, and even practicing on the sports fields. I want the whole City to know that the park is complete and ready to enjoy. This is going to be a very special celebration.”
The Walking Trails along the Cumberland River are part of the new Liberty Park which opens which has it’s Grand Opening on Tuesday, October 23rd.

Wilma Rudolph Event Center seeks craft vendors for new event

Clarksville, TN – The Wilma Rudolph Event Center, located at Liberty Park, is currently seeking craft vendors to participate in a new event hosted by the facility.
The two-day event is scheduled to take place November 17th, 2012 from 10:00am to 6:00pm and November 18th, 2012 from noon to 5:00pm. [Read more]
Free Health and Fitness Expo to be part of Go Commando Half Marathon

Clarksville, TN – The Go Commando Half Marathon & 5k powered by CDE Lightband will feature a free Health and Fitness Expo as part of the race weekend. The Go Commando Health Expo presented by The Runners Hub will be Friday, October 19th from 10:00am–8:00pm.
