Clarksville, TN – On Monday, July 29th, 2019, Tilted Kilt is partnering with Smitty’s Beard Sauce for a Fort Campbell USO Fundraiser to celebrate National Chicken Wing Day.
Smitty’s Beard Sauce “Scotch Bonnet” BBQ Sauce will be available as an option for Tilted Kilt’s famous chicken wings that day. 20% of all chicken wing sales that day will go to the Fort Campbell USO.
Smitty’s Beard Sauce is a veteran owned and operated local Clarksville business.

Tilted Kilt to hold All Star Meet and Greet with Branscombe Richmand, May 23rd

Clarksville, TN – On Thursday, May 23rd, 2019, the Tilted Kilt in Clarksville will host an All Star Meet and Greet with movie and tv star Branscombe Richmond at the pub beginning at 8:00pm.
The Meet and Greet will include autographs and pictures with Branscombe, his band members and other celebrity guest stars.
Other invited stars include Martin Klebba of Pirates of the Caribbean, Charlene Tilton of Dallas, Kathleen Kinmont of Renegade, Wade Williams of Prison Break and many more.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Transit System (CTS) recently placed four new bus shelters.
“I’ve heard passengers request more bus shelters,” said Arthur Bing Sr., City of Clarksville transportation director. “We at CTS are working hard to get more bus shelters installed around the city as quickly as possible.”

The Clarksville Transit System placed four new bus shelters around the Tiny Town Road area this month. The shelters include a bench, solar powered LED lights, a trash receptacle and space for wheelchair access.

Donors urged to help American Red Cross maintain Blood Supply

Severe winter weather, flu disrupting blood donations
Nashville, TN – Winter storms and the flu don’t just mean a lot of people are missing work and school – it also means they can’t keep their American Red Cross blood and platelet donation appointments.
The Red Cross is urging healthy donors of all blood types to roll up a sleeve to help maintain the blood supply for patients in need.

Nashville State Community College becomes Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certified

Montgomery County, TN – Nashville State Community College is the latest organization to join the Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certification Program (CMCGCP). To celebrate their success a green ribbon cutting was held Monday, January 22nd, 2018.
