Clarksville’s Riverfest served up great entertainment and fun for everyone

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, September 10th, 2016 the 28th annual Riverfest Celebration wrapped up with all day entertainment, music, games, food and more. Riverfest gives the community a great opportunity to come down to the Cumberland River at McGregor Park and enjoy all the wonderful music with family and friends. Best of all, it’s free.
Saturday got started with the annual Riverfest Regatta at 10:00am at the McGregor Park Boat Ramp. The race consists of boats made out of cardboard or plastic bottles that race down the Cumberland River. This year, nine teams competed in three heats for awards.
Clarksville’s Riverfest cranked up Friday night

Clarksville, TN – Music along the Cumberland River on Riverside Drive can only mean one thing, the start of Clarksville’s Riverfest event at McGregor Park. Friday night, September 9th, the 28th annual Riverfest Celebration got rolling with live music on three stages from a diverse set of entertainers.
Along with the music, there was booths, great food and fun for young and old alike at this free event. There was a large attendance Friday night with everyone enjoying themselves.

Clarksville’s Riverfest Festival, the best yet

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s 2015 Riverfest Festival wrapped up Saturday, September 12th. It was cloudy, cool with a slight breeze. Fantastic weather for the event.
Everything kicked off at 10:00am with Riverfest Regatta and the Human Foosball Tournament. The cardboard boat race is one of the most unique and fun events at Riverfest.
Unlike other boat races, participants in the Regatta compete in boats made from cardboard, plastic bottles and other approved materials. Competitors raced 100 yards on the Cumberland River to the finish line. This year, only two boats sank.
Clarksville’s Riverfest continues Saturday with featured artist Charles Esten

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s Riverfest Celebration continues Saturday at McGregor Park. The entertainment begins at 10:00am Saturday, September 12th. The Miller Lite stage will feature David Perez, Cole Washburn, and a host of other country artists.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s Riverfest Celebration continues Friday, September 11th at McGregor Park with a 9/11 Commemoration Ceremony at 4:45pm on the Miller Lite Stage, followed by performances by the Fort Campbell Band, The Rocketmen, Tina Brown Band, Serieux and more.
First Baptist Church will host Christian performers Sons of Levi, Dionne Jermeia, Bellarive and more on the Riverbend Stage.

Charles Esten will take the main stage as the headlining event on Saturday, September 12th, 2015 at 9:00pm. The concert is free and open to the public.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Charles “Chip” Esten was raised in Alexandria, VA and attended T.C. Williams High School, made famous in the film “Remember the Titans.”
