Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) ROTC Ranger Challenge team represented the University well in the school’s first-ever trip to the Sandhurst global military skills competition at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York.

Clarksville, TN – At 6:30am Friday morning, the Austin Peay State University (APSU) ROTC Ranger Challenge team was one of the first four teams to start the Sandhurst military skills competition at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York.

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) ROTC Ranger Challenge team arrived in West Point, New York, on Sunday, April 7th, 2019 ready to compete in its first-ever Sandhurst competition.
And by Monday night, the team already claimed a top spot at the starting line.

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) ROTC Ranger Challenge team arrived in West Point, New York, on Sunday, ready to compete in its first-ever Sandhurst competition.
“They’re pretty motivated, and they think they’re going to do really well, and I do too,” Keith Colman, the team’s coach, said. “They’re real strong. They’ve been training hard for three months now.”
Austin Peay State University to begin new Center for the Study of Military Life

Clarksville, TN – The College of Behavioral and Health Sciences at Austin Peay State University announce the creation of the Center for the Study of Military Life.
The purpose of this center is to support research activities that seek to develop a more in-depth understanding of all aspects of military life as they impact individual service members, military families and communities and nation.

Chief Human Resources Officer Named for the Clarksville Montgomery County School System

Montgomery County, TN – Jeanine Chester has been named Chief Human Resources Officer for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System beginning in January. She will replace Bruce Jobe, who is retiring.
Mrs. Chester has served in several Human Resources roles within the school system since 2001. They include: Human Resources Director, Assistant Human Resources Director and Benefits Manager.
