Clarksville Parks and Recreation receives $7,580 grant for Sport Wheelchairs

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is proud to announce that it has received a $7,580 Quality of Life grant from the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
The award was one of 107 grants totaling over $735,482 awarded by the Reeve Foundation to nonprofit organizations nationwide that provide more opportunities, access, and daily quality of life for individuals living with paralysis, their families, and caregivers. Conceived by the late Dana Reeve, the program has awarded over 2,600 grants totaling over $19 million since 1999.
Paralympic Sport Clarksville to host the Paralympic Experience

Clarksville, TN – Paralympic Sport Clarksville is excited to announce the first-ever Paralympic Experience to be held Saturday, March 9th at the Kleeman Community Center, located at 116 Cunningham Lane, from 10:00am until 3:00pm.
This event is open to youth and adults at least 8-years-old, including active duty service members and veterans, with physical and visual disabilities, regardless of skill level.

Clarksville, TN – Paralympic Sport Clarksville is excited to announce the first Paralympic Archery and Shooting Event to be held at 10:00am Friday, October 12th at the Montgomery County Shooting Complex, located at 4201 Southside Road in Southside, TN.

Clarksville, TN – U.S. Paralympics, a division of the U.S. Olympic Committee, and the City of Clarksville’s Parks & Recreation department have partnered to create Paralympic Sport- Clarksville.
Paralympic Sport – Clarksville is a community-based sports club developed to involve youth and adults, including active duty service members and veterans, with physical and visual disabilities in ongoing sports and physical activity, regardless of skill level.
