Jammin’ in the Alley concert series announces this summer’s Line-Up

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville’s Parks and Recreation department is excited to announce the line-up for this summer’s Jammin’ in the Alley.
The annual summer concert series, presented by U.S. Bank, is now in its 5th season and will feature a variety of local talent. In addition to the live music, downtown restaurants will offer outdoor dining for concert-goers.

The Lighting of Christmas on the Cumberland Signals the Start of the 2011 Holiday Season

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville kicked off the 13th Annual Christmas on the Cumberland last night, which continues until January 1st. The annual free holiday display features over 1,000,000 individual Lights in a amazing Christmas display that spans the entire length of McGregor Park in Downtown Clarksville.

Clarksville’s 5th Annual Downtown for the Holidays

Clarksville, TN – Be a part of a Clarksville tradition by celebrating this year at the 5th Annual Downtown for the Holidays celebration presented by the City of Clarksville and Montgomery County Government, in Downtown Clarksville, December 3rd.
The event kicks off with the Jingle Bell Jog 5K hosted by the City of Clarksville and Run for a Reason. The race will begin with a one mile fun run at 8:00am, followed by the 5K. Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville’s Christmas on the Cumberland is sure to create lasting memories this holiday season as thousands experience the captivating displays of over one million lights! Join the City of Clarksville and US Bank as we celebrate Christmas on the Cumberland’s 13th year with a grand opening ceremony, November 22nd at 6:30pm at McGregor Park’s RiverWalk.
The grand opening will feature the official lighting of the Cumberland by Mayor Kim McMillan along with special guests, Channel 4 News Snowbird, and the jolly old man himself- Santa Claus!

larksville, TN – The City of Clarksville together with U.S. Bank will soon be Jammin’ in Strawberry Alley for the last time this season on Friday, October 21st in downtown Clarksville.
This month’s free concert features Tina Brown. This New York native has quickly become a Clarksville favorite performing at various local events around town and all over the mid-South to include blues festivals, on Beale Street, and has even opened for Earth, Wind, & Fire and Gladys Knight in Europe!
Jammin’ in the Alley Concert Series to feature August Christopher and market vendors

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville together with U.S. Bank will be Jammin’ in Strawberry Alley again. Join us September 16th for this month’s free concert and to enjoy yet another “night market,” featuring more than a dozen vendors from Clarksville’s weekly Downtown Market. Vendors will be set up from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, and the concert will begin at 7:00pm.

Clarksville, TN – The Riverfest Regatta, sponsored by U.S. Bank, is not your typical boat race. The boats racing down the Cumberland River Saturday morning, September 10th, will be made of cardboard and a few other approved materials. Not only will teams be racing for bragging rights, but trophies will also be awarded to the first-, second- and third-place teams in each division.
Competition will be in five divisions: Adult Open, Business and Industry, Church/Civic, City Department and Military. Stephen Kemmer, U.S. Bank Community President and District Manager, and his team plan to race their boat in the Business and Industry division.
