APSU graduate student Celeste Malone lands highly competitive Twitter editorial internship

Clarksville, TN – Since 2009, Celeste Malone has been an active Twitter user. From watching live broadcasts to simply tweeting, there is always something for her to explore.
This summer, the APSU Communication graduate student will be using her Twitter and news reporting skills for Periscope — Twitter subsidiary — as an editorial intern in San Francisco, California. She was selected out of 65,000 applications for the position.

The listing is based on fans/followers, engagement, content and frequency of posts. They are looking to hire fifteen new employees to work within their company. No experience is necessary and job training will be provided.

Better Business Bureau of Middle Tennessee to hold Selling With Social Media Seminar July 16th

APSU to have spring AP Debate Forum on March 6th

Austin Peay State University GIS Center develops app for Clarksville Academy

Clarksville, TN – Earlier this year, officials with Clarksville Academy brainstormed ways to improve communication with parents, current students and prospective students. They decided to create iCougar, an app for the Apple iPad and iPhone.
The idea was to make it a centralized digital location for information on the school, but then came the next question – how do you create an app?
