New Children’s Indoor Playland arrives in Clarksville with Grand Opening Celebration

Kids-N-Play hopes to help area kids “take play to a new level” and provide a fun, safe, healthy environment for children of all ages, while catering to parents and caregivers as well.
Clarksville, TN – The weather is turning chilly, and soon schools will be closed for the long winter break. Many parents are busy thinking of ways to keep their children occupied during this time of year. Just in time for the holidays, Clarksville’s newest indoor children’s entertainment center is officially opening and will host special “Grand Opening” events all weekend long – including face painting, free samples of Hunt Brothers Pizza and a raffle.
Located at 525-B Alfred Thun Road (off of Exit 4) in the space formerly occupied by Jump Zone, Kids-N-Play is a new kind of entertainment establishment for children up to age 12. Gone are the large bouncy castles and picnic tables of the old Jump Zone. Young Daughters of Destiny “Bowling with the Stars”

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, May 21st, 2011, the Young Daughters of Destiny held their 1st annual “Bowling with the Stars” at Skyline Lanes. This was a charitable event with the proceeds going to the Youth Teen Conference that will be held September 17th, 2011. The event will be held yearly.

Trenton Hassell to do coin toss at Clarksville Fox game

The Clarksville Fox semi-professional full contact women’s football team will be taking on the Lousiville Nightmare this Saturday, May 15th at 7:00 pm at Northwest High School (800 Lafayette Road). 
Trenton Hassell of the NBA New Jersey Nets, APSU basketball star and Clarksville High School graduate, will perform the pre-game coin toss. Hassell will also be available for autographs.
The Clarksville Fox are semi-professional full contact women’s football team. The Fox season record is 4 – 1. Tickets are just $8.00 each and kids 5 and under are free. Full concessions are available and the gates open at 6:00 pm. The Fox players, coaches, staff, and the team mascot “Trixy” look forward to seeing you there.
