Paralympic Sport Clarksville to host Archery and Shooting Event

Clarksville, TN – Paralympic Sport Clarksville is excited to announce the first Paralympic Archery and Shooting Event to be held at 10:00am Friday, October 12th at the Montgomery County Shooting Complex, located at 4201 Southside Road in Southside, TN.
This event is open to youth and adults at least 8-years-old, including active duty service members and veterans, with physical and visual disabilities, regardless of skill level. [Read more]
Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency set to host Tennessee Outdoors Youth Summit in Montgomery County

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency will host the Third Annual Tennessee Outdoors Youth Summit (TOYS), June 10th-15th, 2012 for high school students from across Tennessee. The students will be introduced to many outdoor activities at the event to be held at the Montgomery County Shooting Complex near Clarksville.
Among the different outdoor activities that the students will have an opportunity to become introduced to will include boating, hunting, trapping, archery, photography, marksmanship, plant identification, forestry, camping, water quality, trap shooting, skeet shooting, wildlife identification, and several classes with wildlife and fishery biology as the topic. Tennessee Outdoors Youth Summit application deadline extended

Nashville, TN – The application deadline has been extended until May 7th, 2010 for the Tennessee Outdoors Youth Summit (TOYS), June 13th-18th. TOYS is for high school students from across Tennessee and will be hosted by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.
