Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) former student Calvin E. Lockett has joined Gwen Stefani’s team on NBC’s hit singing competition “The Voice.”
Lockett, age 25, wowed the judges as he sang the Temptations’ classic “Just My Imagination” during the Sept. 30 airing of the show. Judges Blake Shelton, John Legend and Stefani hit their buzzers seconds into the song during the blind audition.
Rivers and Spires announces Kellie Pickler as Headliner for 2016 Festival

Clarksville, TN – The Rivers and Spires Festival is pleased to announce Kellie Pickler and Plumb as the Festival headliners for Saturday, April 16th. Kellie Pickler will perform on the Public Square Stage at 7:30pm. Plumb will perform on the Christian Stage at 7:00pm. All concerts are free and open to the public.
Country music artist and television personality, Kellie Pickler rose from a small town country girl to American celebrity. You might know Kellie from the 2005 ‘American Idol’ season where she finished sixth or from her numerous singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs list, like “I Wonder”, “Best Days of Your Life”, and “Red High Heels.”

Clarksville, TN – The Rivers And Spires Festival, brought to you by Coors Light and Agero, is pleased to announce Grammy award-winning and multi-platinum selling country music superstar, Ronnie Milsap, will take the Public Square Stage on Friday, April 17th. The concert is free and open to the public.
One of the biggest and most sought-after country music artists of the 70s and 80s, Milsap will perform some of his biggest hits that have made him a legend. Clarksville, TN – The 2014 Rivers and Spires Festival kicks off with a bang Thursday night and the fun continues tonight. Thunderstorms that moved through the area last night are gone and the weather forecast is partly sunny with a high of 73°F. The music starts at 5:00pm and continues to 10:00pm.
Aspire to Stardom kicks things off on the Court House State at 5:00pm. This talent show will have youth from the area will singing and dancing in front of a panel of judges.

Clarksville, TN – When the Canadian singer Leonard Cohen first released his hauntingly beautiful song “Hallelujah” back in 1984, it received little fanfare. But over the years, musicians such as Bob Dylan and Jeff Buckley recorded covers of the work, causing its popularity to skyrocket.
