Planters Bank Presents at the Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – The “Planters Bank Presents…” film series to show the documentary “The Last First Comic” this Sunday, April 29th, 2018 at the Roxy Regional Theatre at 4:00pm.

At age 100, comic Irving Benson stands alone as the oldest link to a uniquely American art form — Burlesque. Irv headlines a cast of fellow veteran Burlesque and Vaudeville performers.

Together with a team of theatre historians, they take us into the colorful world of the Burlesque show and uncover the roots of American Comedy. Filmed on location at NYC’s Palace Theatre, this award-winning documentary spotlights the final film appearance of legendary straight man Ed McMahon and showcases hilarious clips from Irv’s appearances on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.

Chris Janson to headline Riverfest

Clarksville's Riverfest CelebrationClarksville, TN – Riverfest, the City of Clarksville’s entertainment festival now in its 30th year, is pleased to announce Chris Janson will be the featured headliner at the 2017 Festival. Chris Janson will perform at 9:15pm Saturday, September 9th on the Bud Light Stage at McGregor Park. The concert is free and open to the public.

“Once again, the City of Clarksville is presenting a big star to headline our big-time community festival,” Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan said. “Chris Janson is one of the hottest artists in country music, and he’ll be here to push Clarksville’s Riverfest to new heights.”

In celebration of his 70th birthday, Gallagher is bringing master comedians Artie Fletcher and Bob Nelson along for the ride on his national farewell tour … and making Clarksville one of his stops! Stop Child Trafficking Now benefit comedy show tonight staring Henry Cho

The GilroyClarksville, TN – Come out to The Gilroy for a night of clean family friendly comedy tonight, Sunday June 12th at 7:00pm, benefitting the Stop Child Trafficking Now organization. The show will feature comedian Jonnie W. from Knoxville, TN, comedian Brian Bates from Donelson, TN, and national headlining comedian Henry Cho.

Henry has been featured on The Tonight Show and the Late Late Show. His one hour special, “What’s That Clicking Noise?” is currently running on Comedy Central. He has also appeared in several feature films and sitcoms. In December 2010, Henry Cho performed at Comedy on the Cumberland’s benefit comedy show for the Downtown Kiwanis Club, and their children’s charities.
