Montgomery County Relay For Life currently taking Luminaria Orders for Event Ceremony
February 25, 2016
Clarksville, TN – As this year’s Relay For Life campaign effort approaches its close and final plans for the culminating event are almost complete, the public is invited to participate. As we continue our efforts to “Finish the Fight” in the cure for all forms of cancer, we recognize that there are many in the community who will lose the battle and succumb to the fight with cancer.
In the midst of the celebration and festivities that will take place during the Relay For Life event on May 20th, it is also a time dedicated to reflection and healing, to commemorate those who courageously fought but lost the battle in their fight with cancer.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. At Relay, teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events up to 24 hours in length. [Read more]
