“Teddy Gentry’s Best New Nashville” to take the Stage at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® Wednesday

Garrett Steele, one of the artists on Teddy Gentry’s Best New Nashville cd will be performing at a FREE Concert Wednesday, June 1st at the Clarksville Cracker Barrel from 12:00pm-12:30pm

Cracker Barrel Old Country StoreLebanon, TN – Teddy Gentry has long been celebrated as a member of the country supergroup Alabama, and he is also the force and inspiration behind multiple other music successes in Nashville. Now, Gentry, and Porter-Gentry Productions, are lending a guiding hand to a very special CD that provides country music fans with an inspired assortment of new music, among which many a new favorite might be found. The CD, Teddy Gentry’s Best New Nashville, produced by Gentry, includes 12 new songs performed by 12 new artists and will be available exclusively at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store®, starting May 16th.

Grascals set to headline 26th Annual MACC Festival on Wednesday

The Grascals - Country, Bluegrass BandNashville, TN –The Grascals’ version of the classic ’60s pop smash, “The Last Train To Clarksville” premiered worldwide on AOL Music / The Boot (www.theboot.com) yesterday. The video for their current country and bluegrass radio single was directed by Marcel Chagnon (Clay Walker’s “She Won’t Be Lonely Long”), and was filmed at several Nashville locations in late June.

“We are always looking for ways to bring our music to the people,” says Grascals’ vocalist Jamie Johnson. “This is an historic day for bluegrass music. With the premiere of our video, this is the first-time ever AOL has premiered a bluegrass artist’s music video and we are so honored to be the first.”

The Grascals - Country, Bluegrass BandNashville, TN — The Grascals kept their cool as a 100-plus degree heat wave hovered over the mid-state during an all-day video shoot for their current country and bluegrass radio single, “Last Train To Clarksville.” Directed by Marcel Chagnon (Clay Walker’s “She Won’t Be Lonely Long”), the piece was filmed at several locations, including Cummins Station/The Gulch, Lower Broadway and at Franklin, Tennessee’s Riverstone Farm.
