This is just off Dunlop Lane and Holiday Drive and only a few minutes east of Governor’s Square mall.

The meeting begins at 7:00pm and is always open to the public. Members please bring a friend or two – new recruits are always welcomed.

APSU biology student Eva Grebe presents research in Washington, D.C.

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Earlier this spring, a bidding war erupted on the Austin Peay State University campus. Specifically, several different departments were fighting over the honor to pay for biology student Eva Grebe to attend the annual Council on Undergraduate Research’s Posters on the Hill Convention in Washington, D.C.

Only 60 out of 800 applicants nationwide are accepted to attend the convention. Grebe was the only Tennessee college student to be invited.

American Red Cross assisting Those affected by Flash Flooding

Two Rivers Chapter Volunteers Working to Meet Emergency Needs

American Red CrossClarksville, TN – Severe spring storms and flash floods poured torrential rain over much of Tennessee on Saturday morning and again in the evening.

Eight homes were destroyed from the flood with 26 others sustaining major damage, across 4 counties including Henry, Houston, Montgomery and Stewart. The Red Cross responded immediately to provide food, shelter and emotional support to help families who had been affected by the storms. [Read more]

APSU establishes new Center for Entrepreneurship

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – With initial funding from two businesses in Tennessee, the Austin Peay State University College of Business will establish the Center for Entrepreneurship to challenge students beyond the classroom and bridge community business with future business leaders from all areas of interest.
