Clarksville’s Dunbar Cave State Park Programs for October 17th through October 18th, 2014

Clarksville, TN – Dunbar Cave State Natural Area has been a State Park since 1973. The cave and its surrounding 110 acres have considerable scenic, natural and historical significance. The entrance offered shelter to prehistoric Native Americans as far back as 10,000 years.
Dunbar Cave State Natural Area will present many nature programs this summer. There are programs for children and adults.
The upcoming event is October Night Walk with Tales of the Macabre.

Clarksville, TN – It is that time of year to join the Friends of Dunbar Cave and take a night hike at Dunbar Cave with the Tales of the Macabre.
Join Ichabod Crane, Katrina and Mrs. Van Tassel for Tales of the Macabre: The Legend of Stingy Jack and the Tale of the Headless Horseman.

Join Barty the Bat, Roxy Raccoon, Ophelia the Owl and Park Ranger Skip as they share tales of Dunbar Cave history and the adventures of Hansel and Gretel while touring Clarksville’s only state park at night.
