Clarksville, TN – During the month of March, Manna Café Ministries has had Manna Madness, a month-long food drive blitz to help raise food donations to be given out through their food box distribution program.
Through the generosity of the public, Manna Café has raised 20,538 pounds of food and hygiene donations.
G’s Pancake House to host Annual Pancake Eating Challenge Charity Fundraiser May 10th

Clarksville, TN – On May 10th, 2014, G’s Pancake House Restaurant, 803 South Riverside Drive, Clarksville TN, 37040, will hold the “The Ultimate Pancake Challenge Throwdown 5” Starting at 12:00noon.
Contestants will attempt to eat 2 monster size 16 inch pancakes in 30 minutes and the first to finish will win $500.00 in cash and prizes including a big screen HDTV. [Read more]

Yard Sale, Bake Sale and Raffel To Benefit the Children of the BWC 5

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, November 5th, The Bikers Who Care Ladies Auxiliary is sponsoring a Yard Sale at the BWC Clubhouse to Benefit the Children of the BWC 5 who were lost on 9-18-2011 due to accidental Carbon Monoxide Poisioning.
Donations will be accepted the morning of the Yard Sale. The Bikers Who Care Clubhouse is located at 201 Providence Boulevard, Clarksville, TN. This event will start at 9:00 am and run until 4:00pm. [Read more]
American Cancer Society Relay For Life Will Hold Kickoff Rally on October 18th at Waterstreet Events Center

Clarksville, TN – On October 18th, 2011 at 6:00pm, the American Cancer Society Relay For Life® of Montgomery County will officially get underway as event volunteers and participants gather at the Waterstreet Events Center for a kickoff rally to launch their fundraising efforts for the year.
The rally will feature speakers from the community who have benefitted from the funds raised at Relay and will honor cancer survivors. This also will be the first opportunity to register a team and select a campsite for the overnight event to be held on May 18th at the activity field adjacent to the Hilldale Baptist Church Family Life Center. Mag’s Coffee Accepting Donations to “Bikers Who Care – Family Fund”

Clarksville, TN – On September 18th, 2011, after completing their annual toy run benefit, five members of the Bikers Who Care (BWC) organization died in their sleep from what has been determined to be carbon monoxide poisoning. The tragic, untimely deaths of these caring people not only resulted in a tremendous loss to the Clarksville community, but also forever changed the lives of twelve children.

Liberty Park Boat Ramp final preparations

Clarksville, TN – As opening day for the Liberty Park boat ramp and boat docks grows near, TMS Contracting employees and City employees were hard at work Thursday, May 26th with final preparations.
Around 1:00pm, TMS Contracting, launched a Crestliner pontoon boat on loan from Bill Roberts Thunder Road Marine (located at 1018 South Riverside Drive), to do some work on the Marina Basin. This makes the Crestliner the first boat launched from the Liberty Park boat ramp.
