Northeast High School Baseball 1st Annual First Pitch Steak Dinner December 13th

Clarksville, TN – On December 13th, the Northeast High School Baseball will have its 1st Annual NEHS Baseball First Pitch Steak Dinner with Mississippi State University head baseball coach Ron Polk as the featured speaker. Dinner is catered by the Cumberland Grille.
Coach Polk completed 28 seasons as head coach at Mississippi State, and 34 seasons as a collegiate head coach. In 2007 Polk led the Bulldogs to their sixth appearance at the prestigious NCAA College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. [Read more]
6th Annual Wags to Witches Fur Ball Bash Tickets on Sale

Clarksville, TN – The Humane Society of Clarksville Montgomery County is hosting the 6th Annual Wags to Witches Fur Ball Bash Saturday, October 20th, 2012 at the Riverview Inn from 7:00pm to midnight.

AACC at APSU to hold Purses and Pleasantries fundraiser this month

Clarksville, TN – In observance of Women’s History Month, the Wilbur N. Daniel African American Cultural Center at Austin Peay State University will hold the annual Purses and Pleasantries event this month.
This year, women are encouraged to donate up to five new or slightly used purses, as well as business attire, from March 7th-18th.
The purses then will be on display in the African American Cultural Center, located in the Clement Building on the main campus, for a silent auction beginning March 21st and ending March 29th. Anyone may make bids on the purses that interest them. [Read more]

3rd Annual Taste of Holiday

Clarksville, TN – A & S All Support presents the 3rd Annual Taste of Holiday Event on Thursday, September 23rd, 2010 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at First Baptist Church. This event attracted numerous vendors and more than 300 participants last year.
This year we expect an even larger turnout. The cause validates the expectation and the community support that this event produces. All proceeds from the event benefits supportive employment by placement, training and job coaching for individuals with disabilities.
Taste of Holiday features food & beverage samples from some of the finest restaurants, bakeries and caterers in and around the local area. This event is intended for participants to explore options in planning their own holiday events, taste from multiple vendors in one venue, or just have an evening of fun and tasty indulgence while supporting a worthwhile cause.
