Montgomery County TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control will host its first annual Howl-O-Ween Tricks Fur Treats Extravaganza on Saturday, October 24th, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at their facility located at 616 North Spring Street.

This first time event will event will foster community outreach and public awareness, give booth participants the ability to showcase their businesses and organizations, and help the animals at MCAC at the same time!

Hilltop SupermarketClarksville, TN – On Saturday, May 9th, Hilltop Supermarket held a Spring Festival event, “Karing for Kenai”. The event was a fundraiser for Kenai Payes Langley who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

Kenai is a beautiful 13 year-old-young lady who lives in Clarksville, TN, with her mother and older sister, Hailey. Kenai is battling Stage 3 Clear Cell Adenocarcinoma Cancer. She has 8 tumors in the surrounding areas of her reproductive system.

Hilltop Supermarket to host Spring Festival fundraiser for Kenai Langley

Hilltop SupermarketClarksville, TN – This Saturday, May 9th, Hilltop Supermarket is hosting “Karing for Kenai” Spring Festival. The Spring Festival is a fundraiser for 3-year old Kenai Payes Langley who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

There will be a yard sale from 7:00am until 3:00pm. Hilltop is still taking donations that can be dropped off at the store anytime.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – Organizers hope an event tomorrow will help raise awareness of domestic violence and local victims.

Deputy Peggy Macias said the “Remember My Name” event was first brought to Montgomery County in October 2013, during Domestic Violence Awareness month, to Kenwood High School in memory of assistant principal Pam Cooper, who was killed by her ex-husband.

Clarksville’s Tilted Kilt donates over $4,400 to the Folds of Honor Foundation

Clarksville's Tilted KiltClarksville, TN – Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery, with support from the Nashville Chive Chapter, recently raised $4,476 for the Folds Of Honor Foundation.

The “Nashville Chive Unofficial Meetup”, presented by Budweiser of Clarksville, was held at Tilted Kilt on May 17th and included a silent auction, limited edition t-shirt sales, drink and menu specials and more with proceeds going to Folds of Honor.

In addition to Budweiser, additional sponsors for the Chive Meetup included SSF Submission Academy, Touchgolf Products, The Joe Padula Show, and Clarksville Online.

Clarksville’s Dunbar Cave State Park Programs for July 20th through July 26th, 2014

Dunbar Cave State Park - Clarksville TNClarksville, TNDunbar Cave State Natural Area has been a State Park since 1973. The cave and its surrounding 110 acres have considerable scenic, natural and historical significance. The entrance offered shelter to prehistoric Native Americans as far back as 10,000 years.

Dunbar Cave State Natural Area will present many nature programs this summer. There are programs for children and adults.

Some of the upcoming events include: Bugs, Slugs and Other Uugs, National Moth Week, Lake Life, Port Royal History Walk, Evening Nature Hike, Kids Nature Games, and Cooling at the Cave.
