15th Annual Sigma Chi Easter Egg Hunt has held Saturday at Austin Peay State University

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, more than 150 kids came out for an Easter egg hunt on the lawn of the President’s mansion at Austin Peay State University.
“This is the 15th annual Sigma Chi Easter Egg Hunt, and it’s the first time it has been hosted by the president of the university,” Victor Felts said. “President Licari and Kirsten have been so gracious, and Kirsten has been very involved in the planning. She made 150 very creative Peeps treats, and dozens of cookies. She also handled all the decorations.”

As excitement continues to build around Austin Peay’s football program and fans fill the stands at Fortera Stadium, one seat near the American flag will always remain empty.
APSU announces Candlelight Ball Award winners

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University Office of Alumni Relations has announced the recipients of the 2016 Candlelight Ball Awards. The Wendell H. Gilbert Award will go to Jack B. Turner (’67), president of Jack B. Turner and Associates, and the Spirit of Austin Peay Award will go to Josh Baggett (’05), district engineering technician with Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation.
Since 2011, the University has honored two individuals who have supported or brought recognition to APSU through their achievements or contributions. [Read more]

In March, Stephen Dominy, coordinator of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs, was named the NASPA – Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education Fraternity & Sorority Knowledge Community co-chair.
