Lowe’s to teach building skills to local volunteers for Habitat for Humanity’s 2016 Women Build

Clarksville, TN – Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County Tennessee (HFHMCTN) and longtime national partner Lowe’s are hosting “how to” construction clinics for women volunteering during our Women Build 2016 project.
Taking place each year, the national Habitat for Humanity Women Build program encourages women across the country to devote at least one day to building simple, decent and affordable housing with Habitat in their local communities.

Habitat for Humanity has been the beneficiary of this Sango UMC event for over 20 years.

Montgomery County, TN – Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County and the Habitat ReStore are the latest organizations to become Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certified.
Montgomery County Mayor Carolyn Bowers, City of Clarksville’s Chief of Staff Bill Harpel, Habitat for Humanity Board Members and CMC Green Certification Steering Committee Board Members were on hand with Habitat and ReStore employees for their green ribbon cutting held on July 10th.

Clarksville, TN – In recognition of Earth Day, Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County Tennessee invites its supporters to recycle their used cars and vehicles to help build hope and homes in partnership with low-income families in Clarksville and Montgomery County.
Throughout the month of April, Habitat for Humanity’s Cars for Homes program will celebrate its “Every Day is Earth Day” initiative, encouraging people to donate their used cars, trucks, RVs, boats and other vehicles to help raise funds for Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County Tennessee and other Habitat affiliates throughout the country. Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County to present donation to Austin Peay State University for Caribbean project

Clarksville, TN – Earlier this month, a group of 22 Austin Peay State University students traveled to the Caribbean nation of Trinidad and Tobago to build three houses for Habitat for Humanity.

Clarksville, TN – Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, TN will dedicate its 80th home to Nancy Medley and Sherman Meriwether in partnership with the Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors.
