Clarksville, TN – The Roxy Regional Theatre is high-stepping into Season 37 of live entertainment on the corner of Franklin and First in Historic Downtown Clarksville with a stunning concept musical capturing the spirit and tension of a Broadway chorus audition.
“A Chorus Line” opens at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Friday, September 6th, 2019 at 8:00pm. In keeping with the theatre’s traditional pay-what-you-can opening night, all tickets not pre-sold at the regular price will go on sale at 7:30pm that evening for a $5.00 minimum donation.

Austin Peay State University Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts receives grant to bolster efforts with local school teachers

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts recently received a $10,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to expand the University’s arts education partnership with the local school system.

Vendor spots still available for 14th annual Frolic on Franklin

Clarksville, TN – With over a month to go, booth space at the 14th annual “Frolic on Franklin: A Celebration of the Arts” is already going quickly. Less than ten slots remain for artists and arts demonstrators at this year’s event.
Interested artists may download a vendor application at www.roxyregionaltheatre.org/frolic. Completed applications, with a $30.00 entry fee, must be received by Monday, August 12th.
Frolic on Franklin will be held on Saturday, September 14th, 2019 from 8:30am to 3:30pm, in the 100-block of Franklin Street in Historic Downtown Clarksville.
Roxy Regional Theatre finishes Season 36 with “Damn Yankees”, August 2nd-24th

Clarksville, TN – The Roxy Regional Theatre, Clarksville’s oldest professional theatre, is hitting it out of the park to close Season 36 of live entertainment on the corner of Franklin Street and First Street with the home-run hit musical “Damn Yankees”.
“Damn Yankees” opens at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Friday, August 2nd, at 8:00pm. In keeping with the theatre’s traditional pay-what-you-can opening night, all tickets not pre-sold at the regular price will go on sale at 7:30pm that evening for a $5.00 minimum donation.
