Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – Take a break from the Roxy Regional Theatre’s full-size mainstage productions (such as “The Fantasticks”, closing Saturday) and join us upstairs in theotherspace this Wednesday, February 26th at 7:00pm as we continue our “Roxy Reads” series with a reading of Samuel Beckett’s “Waiting For Godot”.

In this “tragicomedy in two acts,” two wandering tramps, Vladimir and Estragon, wait by a lonely tree, to meet up with Mr. Godot, an enigmatic figure in a world where time, place and memory are blurred and meaning is where you find it.

Cumberland Winds celebrates Black History Month at the Roxy Regional Theatre on February 23rd

Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – The sounds of West Africa will fill the hall of Clarksville’s oldest professional theatre, the Roxy Regional Theatre, for one afternoon this month.

The Cumberland Winds celebrates Black History Month with a special concert in the intimate setting of the Roxy Regional Theatre on Sunday, February 23rd, 2020 at 2:00pm.

Organized by Yvonne Kendall and Mike Ritter, this narrated performance of instruments, song and dance will travel through time from West Africa to the Americas — North America, South America and the Caribbean — celebrating the musical influence of African culture in the New World.

Heartwarming Romantic Comedy “Dancing Lessons” plays the Roxy Regional Theatre’s theotherspace, February 17th-25th

Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – Two lonely individuals find a connection through dance in the latest offering upstairs in the Roxy Regional Theatre’s theotherspace.

Starring Ian Alexander Erbe and Emma Jordan, the heartwarming romantic comedy “Dancing Lessons” plays the 50-seat black-box theatre located upstairs at the Roxy for four evenings only, February 17th through February 25th.

Written by Mark St. Germain and directed by Ryan Bowie, “Dancing Lessons” centers on Ever, a socially awkward young man with Asperger’s syndrome, who seeks the instruction of a Broadway dancer, Senga, to learn enough dancing to survive an awards dinner.

Romantic musical comedy “The Fantasticks” opens Valentine’s Day at Roxy Regional Theatre

Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – Anyone wishing to treat their special someone to an unforgettable evening this upcoming Valentine’s Day weekend need look no further than the Roxy Regional Theatre,  Clarksville’s oldest professional theatre.

Opening Valentine’s night and running through the end of the month, the timeless romantic musical comedy “The Fantasticks” will enchant audiences at the Roxy Regional Theatre beginning at 8:00pm on Friday, February 14th. In keeping with the theatre’s traditional pay-what-you-can opening night, all tickets not pre-sold at the regular price will go on sale at 7:30pm that evening for a $5.00 minimum donation.

Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – Funny, outrageous, emotionally affecting and occasionally angry … Eve Ensler’s wildly popular series of monologues about women and performed by women is back for the eighteenth year with the Roxy Regional Theatre’s presentation of “The Vagina Monologues”, January 17th – February 1st.
 
This year, two members of the theatre’s professional company and a special guest from the community will take the stage of theotherspace, the 50-seat black-box theatre located upstairs at the Roxy, in readings of these monologues based on interviews Eve Ensler conducted with 200 women about their views on sex, relationships and violence against women.

“We know Clarksville has some amazing artists and we’re really hoping to see their talents,” said Maggie Houts, Event Planning Specialist for Clarksville Parks and Recreation. “It doesn’t matter if you have the best gear or just your phone. We are looking for filmmakers who can create a captivating story in 52 hours or less.”
