First Presbyterian Church Gives $150,000 to Loaves & Fishes Campaign

Clarksville, TN – As First Presbyterian Church prepares to celebrate a bicentennial year in 2022, they have dedicated 50 cents of every dollar they raise in a three-year Campaign to seed the Loaves & Fishes plan for expansion in a completely new facility. The first installment of this nearly half-million-dollar, three-year commitment by the church came on Sunday, September 8th, 2019 in the form of a check for $150,000.
Barksdale Elementary School students learn about government from officials

Clarksville, TN – Students at Barksdale Elementary School prepared for this week’s Social Studies test, but aside from hitting the books, they were taught by several officials in local government.
Captain Jesse Reynolds of the MCSO introduced Clarksville City Mayor Kim McMillan, Montgomery County Director of Administration Phil Harpel, Circuit Judge Ross Hicks, Assistant District Attorney Daniel Stephenson, Attorney Michael Pugh, K-9 Deputy Kelley Potter along with K-9 Mali and Deputy Tim Harp of the bomb squad.
Cumberland Bank & Trust received Crime Free Business Certification from Clarksville Police Department

Cumberland Bank & Trust was recently presented with the Crime Free Business certification by the Clarksville Police Department (CPD). Cumberland Bank & Trust is the second business in Clarksville to receive the certification and the first business with multiple locations throughout Montgomery County to be recognized as a Crime Free Business.
