City of Clarksville’s Spring Eggstravanganza Easter Egg Hunt was a blast!

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Department of Parks and Recreation held their annual Spring Eggstravanganza Easter Egg Hunt Saturday at at the Heritage Park Baseball Fields.
This year separate hunts were held for each age between 2 and 10 with hunts kicking off every 15 minutes. There were more than 20,000 eggs; scattered among them were special prize eggs.

Clarksville, TN – The first official day of the 25th Annual Riverfest Celebration kicked off at 5:00pm in several locations throughout downtown Clarksville simultaneously.
At the Customs House Museum the High School Art Exhibition kicked off the Tour d’Art, followed by the Amateur/Professional exhibition at the Smith Trahern Mansion. The Senior Exhibition continues at the Downtown Artists Co-op.

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville’s Department of Parks and Recreation held their annual Spring Eggstravanganza easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 7th on the Heritage Park Baseball Fields. The turn out was overwhelming, and so the Clarksville Department of Parks and Recreation staff are planning to make adjustments to the event next year. Thousands of families showed up to enjoy the absolutely wonderful afternoon.

Clarksville, TN – After enjoying this year’s Thanksgiving Feast and shopping marathon, head out to RiverView Mounds Century Farm and spend some time relaxing with your loved ones. The farm is offering pictures and visits with Santa among many more activities.
After accepting their award this year for Clarksville’s Best Place for Family Fun, the Rineharts immediately contacted the North Pole to find out if Santa would be able to return this year. The North Pole management has been able to accommodate their special request, but, Santa’s busy schedule will only allow him to participate four weekends this year. City votes on Clarksville’s Best for the March of Dimes

Clarksville, Tenn -The Best of Clarksville fundraiser for the March of Dimes is eagerly awaited each year by both businesses and area residents. The fundraiser this year featured 140 businesses in 65 categories; each one looking to score the votes of area residents to be declared The Best of Clarksville. The event consists of local vendor booths, silent auctions, dance performances, free give-a-ways, and a fireworks show by Allen’s Fireworks. All of the money raised is donated to the March of Dimes.
Matthews Nissan Suzuki was the presenting sponsor. Other sponsors included Five Star Radio, Sango Village Florist, US Bank, Cumberland Bank and Trust, FedEx, Allen’s Fireworks, Ad One Advertising, WJZM 1400 AM, and The Leaf-Chronicle.
