Join us in welcoming Joe Scarlett and learn about how the Tractor Supply Company transformed into what it is today. Enjoy a taste of the Holidays in Clarksville tomorrow Night

Clarksville, TN – Tomorrow night from 5:00pm – 9:00pm, A & S All Support, Inc. will be presenting their annual Taste of Holiday in Clarksville Extravaganza at the Riverview Inn. The event raises money to support their mission in assisting people with disabilities with finding meaningful jobs.
At the Taste of Clarksville event a veritable who’s who of Clarksville will gather to enjoy scrumptious food and drink, wonderful entertainment, and access to a variety of area merchants. There will also be door prizes, along with both live and silent auctions. [Read more]
Go Commando Half-Marathon and 5K on October 15th to benefit APSU scholarships

Clarksville, TN – Help raise money for Austin Peay State University scholarships by running in the community’s first GoCommando Half-Marathon and 5K next month.
The half-marathon begins at 7:30am, Saturday, October 15th. The 5K race starts at 8:00am. Both races will begin at Liberty Park and continue along the Cumberland River. The courses are certified by the USA Track and Field.
Registration open for Contestants to participate in the 2012 Miss Tennessee USA and Teen USA Pageants

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville will host the 2012 Miss Tennessee USA and Miss Tennessee Teen USA Pageants at the Austin Peay State University Music and Mass Communications Building Concert Hall on October 7th through 8th, 2011.
Pageant officials have announced that applications are being accepted from young women throughout the state who would like to compete in this year’s Miss Tennessee USA and Teen USA Pageants. Applications for the pageant can be found on www.misstennesseeusa.com under the “Apply Now” section.

Annual Taste of Holiday Extravaganza

Clarksville, TN – A&S All Support, Inc. will once again present “Taste of Holiday”, Thursday September 22nd, at the Riverview Inn from 5:00pm to 9:00pm in the large ballroom downstairs. This annual event showcases the area’s vendors in food, desserts, and catering and gift ideas.

From his humble beginnings as a 5-year-old German immigrant, Emmy award winner Rudy Kalis has garnered a long and exciting career as one of the nation’s premiere sports newscasters. Rudy has crossed paths with some of the greatest names in sports history such as Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, Jack Nicklaus, Wayne Gretzky, Wilma Rudolph, and Darrell Waltrip. [Read more]

On Tuesday, April 5th, the Chamber will be hosting a Women In Business event at 11:30am at the Riverview Inn, 50 College Street. Dale Thomas will serve as the Keynote Speaker. Born and raised in rural Mississippi, Dale Thomas pulls from her life history and the choices she made to teach “real life” lessons to each audience. Dale has been teaching for over 17 years and owns and operates a series of Boot Camps. They are workshops that educate and empower others to take their lives to the next level. The Boot Camps are topic specific and have gained national recognition including a documentary series on The Travel Channel entitled, “Cool Summer Camps”. She has been a special guest expert on The Dr. Phil Show, The Big Idea on CNBC, CMT, Vh1 and MTV. Dale is also the author of several books and empowerment CD’s. [Read more]
Clarksville Networking Group to hold Special Evening Event

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Networking Group will stray from their usual morning meeting to host a special evening networking event with special guest Adam Small of Strategic Business Network. The first-ever event is scheduled for March 8th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the ballroom of the Riverview Inn.
Small is an author and speaker as well as facilitator of Networking and Entrepreneurial seminars/programs, including FastTrac™ which Small has taught on behalf of the Nashville Chamber since the course’s Nashville launch in 1999.
