McGregor Park Docks Will Be Closed for the Event Saturday and Sunday
Clarksville, TN – The Bass Pro Shops Big Cat Quest Championship will be taking place on the banks of the Cumberland River in Clarksville, Tennessee, October 27th-28th.
The Clarksville-Montgomery County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and Ken Freeman Outdoor Promotions invite you to see all the action live at McGregor Park. The CVB also wants to announce that the Courtesy Docks located at the park will be closed over the weekend to accommodate the tournament participants.
United States Colored Troops Living History Association Hosts Annual Conference in Clarksville October 19th-21st

Clarksville, TN – The United States Colored Troops Living History Association’s annual national meeting will be October 19th-21st in Clarksville, TN at Riverview Inn, 50 College Street.
The United States Colored Troops Living History Association is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote and accurately interpret the history of the United States Colored Troops of the American Civil War and those that supported their efforts to abolish slavery and preserve the Union and to educate the public and promote research of the history and legacy of those who served in the Civil War. Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce announces upcoming events during the month of October.
On October 9th-11th, the Chamber will be hosting a Membership Event to help spread the word of the value and importance of being a part of the local Chamber. Over the two and a half day drive, over 100 volunteers will race against the clock and each other to sign up new Chamber members all while creating awareness for the organization. Jenkins and Wynne to hold Ford Test Drive Fundraiser for Manna Café Ministries

Clarksville, TN – Manna Café Ministries will take part in a Jenkins and Wynne Ford Test Drive Fundraiser on Wednesday, October 17th. Volunteers, with valid driver’s license, are needed to sign up to test drive a vehicle courtesy of Jenkins and Wynne on October 17th from 9:00am to 1:00pm in the lower parking lot of Riverview Inn, 50 College Street.
Each test drive will take approximately 15 minutes and Manna Café Ministries will receive $20.00 for each test drive, up to $6,000! [Read more]

Clarksville, TN – The Humane Society of Clarksville Montgomery County will be holding their 6th Annual Wags to Witches Fur Ball Bash Saturday, October 20th from 7:00pm to Midnight. This year’s theme is “Scary Fairy Tales”.
This event has turned out to be one of their best fundraisers thanks in large part of many, many volunteers. They need your help again this year to raise our goal of $20,000, which goes right back into our community to fund their current programs, services and spay-neuter clinic goals.
