Road Closures announced for Clarksville’s Rivers and Spires Festival

Clarksville, TN – Road closures for this week have been announced for the 14th Annual Rivers & Spires Festival in downtown Clarksville.
The Rivers & Spires Festival takes place April 14th-16th in downtown Clarksville. It is free and open to the public. The Festival features five stages of music and entertainment, arts and crafts, marketplace, food vendors and activities for all ages.

Clarksville, TN – In the final hours before the Rivers & Spires Festival takes over Downtown Clarksville, a breaking announcement adds even more bang for your non-existent buck (since the festival is entirely free) as we excitedly announce that Tristan McIntosh will take the stage with headliner Kellie Pickler on Saturday night.

Austin Peay State University Department of Art and Design to hold US Bank Open Exhibition April 15th-16th

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s Department of Art and Design will host the 2016 US Bank Open Exhibition April 15th-16th, during Clarksville’s Rivers and Spires Festival.
The Open Exhibition is an opportunity for artists living in and around Montgomery County to exhibit their work, sell their work and to help raise money for APSU art scholarships.

Rivers and Spires announces Kellie Pickler as Headliner for 2016 Festival

Clarksville, TN – The Rivers and Spires Festival is pleased to announce Kellie Pickler and Plumb as the Festival headliners for Saturday, April 16th. Kellie Pickler will perform on the Public Square Stage at 7:30pm. Plumb will perform on the Christian Stage at 7:00pm. All concerts are free and open to the public.
Country music artist and television personality, Kellie Pickler rose from a small town country girl to American celebrity. You might know Kellie from the 2005 ‘American Idol’ season where she finished sixth or from her numerous singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs list, like “I Wonder”, “Best Days of Your Life”, and “Red High Heels.”

Clarksville, TN – Now in its 14th year, the Rivers and Spires Festival will return to Downtown Clarksville on April 14th-16th, 2016, with five stages of entertainment, more than 100 performers and countless attractions. Fun, family-friendly and always free, the award winning Rivers and Spires Festival is among the largest of its kind in the Southeast.
