Restore Ministries is a new program that offers small groups, counseling and other services to help those in our community make lasting positive changes in their lives. No matter what needs attention and healing, Restore Ministries can provide the support and guidance a person needs to learn, grow and ultimately thrive. Stand Up for Joplin Comedy Benefit show this Saturday

Clarksville, TN –  Come out to Lifepoint Church, Saturday, June 18th for the Stand Up for Joplin comedy benefit show. The show features Nashville area comedians Jonnie W., Renard Hirsch and Rik Roberts.

Proceeds from this night of comedy goes to benefit Convoy of Hope and their efforts to help those in Joplin, MO affected by the tornadoes.

Last chance to get tickets for Tuesday’s Comedy on the Cumberland

Clarksville, TN – Come out to the Roxy Theatre Tuesday night at 7:00pm for Comedy on the Cumberland, and support the Clarksville Salvation Army. Tickets still remain for Tuesday night’s show. This show features Paul Strickland, Brian Swinford, and C.J Harlow; and is hosted by local talk show host and comedian, Hank Bonecutter.

The show is being presented with the support of F&M Bank, Wendy’s of Clarksville, Wyatt Johnson, and the Coleman Tractor Company.

Comedy on the Cumberland delivers for Project F.U.E.L.

In a gala event at the Roxy Regional Theatre local Radio Station owner and Comedian Hank Bonecutter’s dream of using his love of comedy to enact community change came true. The first Comedy on the Cumberland raised approximately $6,000 of which the proceeds went to benefit Project F.U.E.L.

Project F.U.E.L. feeds hungry children in the Clarksville/Montgomery County school system. “Over twelve hundred school children leave school on Friday, and don’t have a solid meal again until they return to school on Monday”, said Bonecutter, “This is embarrassing and unacceptable”. The life’s mission of Denise Skidmore, who was led to this effort by her Christian faith. “I was searching for a purpose in my life, wondering what would be my footprint if I were to die today” she said, “I want to feed every child I can. I won’t stop until they are all taken care of”.

The success of this show has already created quite a buzz among Nashville comedians. With comedians contacting Bonecutter to see how they can get to Clarksville to be part of future Comedy on the Cumberland shows.

John McDonald and Tom Thayer from the Roxy Regional Theatre graciously provided the use of their luxurious theatre as the venue for this charity benefit.

F&M bank and Wendy’s of Clarksville provided the financial backing for the event, with Clarksville Online, Discover Clarksville, Ad One, Clarksville’s Best Buys along with CDE Lightband providing promotion for the event. “All of our partners jumped on this opportunity to help Project F.U.E.L without hesitation”, said Bonecutter, “We couldn’t have done it without them”. On Tuesday April 13, at 7:00 p.m. the Roxy Regional Theatre will host some of Nashville’s funniest comedians who will perform as part of “Comedy on the Cumberland,” a benefit for Project F.U.E.L. The show is the brainchild of Hank Bonecutter, host of WJZM’s The Bone Show, and a local comedian.
