Youth Dodgeball League returns for another season at the Crow Community Center

Clarksville, TN – Registration for the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Youth Dodgeball League is currently underway!
Pre-registration is required and participants, boys and girls ages 6-17, can register at the Parks and Recreation Main office or online at www.cityofclarksville.com/parksrec now through January 8th, 2016.
Clarksville Community Centers to host ‘Drop and Shop’ holiday events

Clarksville, TN – New this holiday season, Clarksville Parks and Recreation community centers will be providing a valuable service for parents and an afternoon of fun for children in December during the holiday season.
The City’s Crow community center, Kleeman community center, and Burt-Cobb community center will be holding their first-ever “Drop and Shop” events for children ages 6 and up.

Clarskville Parks and Recreation’s Tai Chi for Arthritis will be starting again soon

Clarksville, TN – Another session of Tai Chi will begin on August 11th at the Crow Community Center, located at 211 Richview Road. There are a total of 8 one-hour long sessions included in the program. Tai Chi will take place on Tuesdays from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, August 11th through September 29th.
Tai Chi involves stretching and different chair exercises. Improved balance, increased flexibility, and reduced stress are benefits you can receive from participating. [Read more]

Manna Café Ministries “Manna Madness” is going on now

Clarksville, TN – Manna Café Ministries announces Manna Madness, a 31-day event to raise awareness about and take action against hunger in the Clarksville area. The past few weeks have caused many Montgomery County workplaces to close, and, as a result, people have less money to put food on the table.
For the entire month of March, Manna Café will be collecting food and monetary donations to ensure we have enough food on our shelves to meet the needs in our community.
