Crow Community Center offers Indoor Soccer for youth

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The Crow Community Center’s Indoor Soccer league kicks off January 5th! The 8-week league is open to ages 4-12 years and will teach the fundamentals of soccer.

Games will be held at the Crow Center, located at 211 Richview Road, every Saturday beginning January 5th. Ages 4-6 will play at 9:00am, ages 7-9 will play at 10:00am and ages 10-12 will play at 11:00am each week. [Read more]

Clarksville’s 6th Annual Downtown for the Holidays December 1st

Downtown for the HolidaysClarksville, TN – Be a part of a Clarksville tradition by celebrating this year at the 6th Annual Downtown for the Holidays celebration presented by the City of Clarksville and Montgomery County Government, in Downtown Clarksville, December 1st, 2012.

The event kicks off with the Jingle Bell Jog 5K hosted by the City of Clarksville and Run for a Reason. The 5K race will begin at 8:00am, in downtown Clarksville. Registration is available now at www.active.com.

Pre-register by November 15th and pay only $20.00. If you register between November 16th and November 30th, the cost is $25.00. Registration will be available on race day, cost will be $30.00. All proceeds will benefit the Food Initiative. [Read more]

39th Annual Tennessee Entomological Society Meeting in Nashville October 11th and 12th

Austin Peay State University’s 2012 Homecoming features two sports events open to public

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University National Alumni Association will sponsor both a golf tournament and 5K scholarship run during Homecoming 2012, and those will be open to the public.

The 34th Annual Homecoming Golf Tournament will be at 8:00am, Friday, October 26th at Swan Lake Golf Course. Cost is $60.00 per person, and advance registration is required. Fee includes ditty bag, refreshments on the golf course and light lunch. The event is sponsored by Budweiser of Clarksville. [Read more]
