This weeks highlights include: Clarksville’s Wonder Kids Triathlon, Rally on the Cumberland Canoe and Kayak Race, Independence Day Celebration and Adaptive Yoga to start in July.
1st Annual Big Ugly Autofest and Craftshow to be held at Clarksville Speedway, June 28th

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, June 28th, 2014 the 1st Annual Big Ugly Autofest and Craftshow will be held at the Clarksville Speedway by B Company “Big Ugly”, 96th Aviation Support Battalion, 101st Airborne Division.
This big Car/Truck/Bike and craft show will take place from 10:00am until 6:00pm. The entry fee is $10.00.
9th Annual Wilma Rudolph 5k and 10k Road Race to be held June 21st, 2014

Clarksville, TN – The Wilma Rudolph 5K-10K Road Race is being held Saturday, June 21st, 2014 Clarksville, TN and is presented by the Clarksville Running Club. The race will be held at Sango United Methodist Church.
The 9th Annual Wilma Rudolph 5k and 10k Road Race is a course that is on rolling hills and meanders through the streets and neighborhoods of the Sango community in Clarksville Tennessee. [Read more]
Registration open for Austin Peay Community School of the Arts’s summer programs

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University Community School of the Arts is gearing up for a busy summer of creative arts classes and camps for children and adults in the Clarksville community.
For more than two decades, the CSA has provided top-notch music, art, drama, creative writing and dance lessons. This summer, the CSA will offer classes, lessons, camps and workshops throughout June, July and August. Registration is now open. [Read more]

Clarksville Parks and Recreation to host 2nd Annual Rally on the Cumberland Canoe and Kayak Race July 12th

Clarksville, TN – Rally on the Cumberland is back for its second year! The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will host the Canoe and Kayak Race on July 12th at Liberty Park.
The race will be held in heats beginning at 8:00am at the Montgomery County Conservation Club, located at 1182 Seven Mile Ferry Road, and finishing at Freedom Point in Liberty Park. [Read more]
Clarksville’s Rivers and Spires to hold Arm Wrestling Tournament this weekend

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s Rivers and Spires has added an arm wrestling tournament to this year’s festival. The tournament will be held in the Military Appreciation Area.
There are cash prizes and awards up for grabs and anyone can sign up. Registration will be Friday April 25th, 2014 from 5:00pm-10:00pm and Saturday April 26th, 2014 from 10:00am until noon at the Military Appreciation Zone.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s 50+ Olympics registration underway

Clarksville, TN – Adults at least 50-years-old can register now through Monday, May 5th, 2014 for Clarksville’s 50-Plus Olympics.
This year’s events will be held May 13th-17th at various locations around Clarksville, to include the Pinnacle Bowling Center, Swan Lake Sports Complex, Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence, Rossview High School track, Crow Community Center and Kleeman Community Center. [Read more]
