APSU hosts area high schools for JROTC Raider Challenge competition, Saturday

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) Governors Guard ROTC cadets this weekend will host about 90 cadets from high schools from throughout the area in the Raider Challenge competition. The competition is this Saturday, September 21st, 2019 from 7:00am until 4:00pm at the APSU Clarksville campus.
Austin Peay State University math students and faculty perform well at Annual Conference

Clarksville, TN – Five Austin Peay State University faculty members and four students presented at the Middle Tennessee Mathematics’ Teachers annual conference on February 3rd-4th at Ravenwood High School in Brentwood Tennessee. More than 240 in-service and pre-service teachers attended the two-day event.
Ashley Whitehead presented “Problem Solving and Modeling with Fractions.” She also presented “Student Teaching: the good, the bad, and the ugly” with Dr. Ann Assad, APSU associate professor of mathematics.
