Clarksville, TN – The 13th Annual Rivers and Spires Festival, April 16th-18th in downtown Clarksville, is free and open to the public. The Festival features five stages of music and entertainment, arts and crafts, marketplace, food vendors and activities for all ages.
Road closures for this week have been announced for the Rivers and Spires Festival in downtown Clarksville.
Sleep Under the Stars at the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Spring Family Campout

Registration is underway for this fun family camp out beginning at 2:00pm Saturday, May 16th, until 9:00am Sunday, May 17th, at the park located at 1930 East Boy Scout Road. Activities will include a bonfire, games, and lots of fun!

Clarksville Gas and Water Department Transitions to New Online Utility Bill Payment Processing Service

Online and automated payment by phone service will be temporarily unavailable
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water is pleased to announce the transition to a new online customer payment processing service. The new service will include the same secure online payment services as before, but will feature a new convenient One Time Payment option for monthly utility bill payment.
Customers will be able to select the new One Time Payment button on the Gas and Water home page, www.clarksvillegw.com , then choose Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit card payment or E-Check payment without establishing an “Access My Account” login and password.
Vendor application deadline approaches for the 2015 Clarksville Downtown Market

Clarksville, TN – Do you want to sell your homegrown or homemade items this summer? Clarksville Parks and Recreation is accepting applications for 2015 Downtown Market vendors- but time is running out!
Applications are available online at www.cityofclarksville.com/downtownmarket and must be submitted no later than April 3rd. Potential vendors may complete the form online or download a printable version to be submitted to 102 Public Square. Any applications submitted later than April 3rd will not be considered for the 2015 market.

Clarksville, TN – The 37th Annual Queen City Road Race scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd, have you reserved your spot at the finish line?
The Queen City Road Race event is a Clarksville tradition promoting fitness and fun for all ages. The 7K and 5K race route takes runners through the streets of Historic Downtown Clarksville, beginning at Austin Peay State University’s Foy Center and ending inside the new Governors Stadium, while the One Mile Movement takes you on an exciting tour of a portion of the APSU campus.
For over thirty years, hundreds of Clarksville-Montgomery County and Fort Campbell school students, teachers and family members have participated in this Clarksville tradition.

Summer Workers Needed- Now Hiring Lifeguards and Cashiers

Clarksville, TN – In need of a summer job? The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is now hiring for part-time lifeguards and cashiers.
To become a lifeguard, participants must be at least 15 years of age and able to swim 300 yards continuously, tread water for two minutes without the use of arms or hands and successfully complete a timed event within 1 minute and 40 seconds. [Read more]
